Our admin team stretches across the globe, with assistants in the Pacific and Eastern time zones in North America and overseas as well. (Phoebe is our current globe-trotter, as of July 2014 hanging her hat in Dubai!). Our headquarters are in Vancouver, British Columbia, so when our work day is starting out here on the West coast, it’s already close to noon back East. And what good is that when you’re on deadline or waiting for an important piece of email correspondence? Well, that’s when we pull our Eastern VA into the mix. She can man the info line, check email and correspondence, and make sure timelines are met – while us out here in the Pacific North West are just starting our day. It’s like magic, only better. And cheaper.

Something you should know is just how close we are as an Admin team. We have weekly one-on-one meetings with each other, plus bi-weekly team meetings via Webex. We are in constant contact with each other, touch base with questions for each other daily, know each other’s vacation plans, favourite tv shows, family members (the newest Scratchpad baby is arriving in October!), and can’t wait to see where Phoebe is going to wind up next. Basically – we’re a super-close team that works extremely well together and enjoys our work and especially our clients, to no end. 🙂
